When we moved out of our condo, one of the biggest influences to staying in the city (as opposed to moving to the suburbs) was the plethora of things we could easily walk to. Within a 5 minute walking radius, we have 3 world-class bakeries offering a variety of butter-laden goodness we would have a hard time living without. These are from the closest bakery, only 1 block away, and they’re mini-sized so you feel less guilty when you have 2.
