A local grocery store chain has been offering a space for kid’s parties, which is where we found ourselves for the birthday party of Kaden’s friend, Mimi. Each of the kids that attended found themselves equipped with a tiny chef’s hat, a plastic knife and a little bowl of veggies to chop up for pizza and supplies to decorate cupcakes. I just love the idea of kids learning to help out in the kitchen and the sight of little hands working away and tiny brows furrowed in concentration is pretty adorable.
